Half of the game is environmental puzzle adventuring, where you track down monsters' souls to reunite them with their bodies. It really is a Western PC-style graphic adventure game, but with that genre's two gameplay aspects split thoroughly. I absolutely think it's the best video game narrative in history, still.Ģ. ![]() It's constantly novel, there is a great balance between downtime (for chatting) and action (for reactions), the game's legitimately hilarious and charming, odd stuff happens consistently, it's rich in video game references, it has a classic opening segment to grip people, and the ending is hyper-emotional. I know that more and more people don't play games, just watch them, and this game will be INCREDIBLE for streamers. I understand if it's not your thing, but the themes, story, character, dialogue, and (apparently) translation will just make it a really moving experience. While it's not as wordless as L.O.L.: Lack Of Love, it's nowhere near Moon's workload. The artist, Kazuyuki Kurashima, posts a ton of art from that game, more than that of Moon or L.O.L.
